butterfly butterfly
where do you go
i need your inspiration so
badly black and white the world
without youre colouring winged sword
rising in the sky so high
outta space you fly
bring the heavenly back to earth
with inspiration so much worth
colours in the left and brushes in the right
i paint my canvas so bright.

Butterfly Wishes

Yesterday a butterfly

Came floating gently through the sky.

He soared up through the atmosphere

Then drifted close enough to hear.

I said, "I'd love to fly with you

And sail around the way you do.

It looks like it would be such fun

To fly up toward the summer sun.

But I have not your graceful charm.

I haven't wings, just these two arms.

I've been designed to walk around.

My human feet must touch the ground.

Then magically he spoke to me

and told me what his wish would be.

He said, "What I'd love most to do

Is walk upon God's Earth with you,

To squish it's mud between my toes

Or touch my finger to my nose.

I'd love just once to walk around

With human feet to touch the ground,

But I have not two legs that swing,

I haven't arms, just these two wings."

And so we went our separate ways

In wonder and surprise.

For we'd both seen God's precious gifts

Through someone else's eyes.

What though the radiance which was once so bright

Be now for ever taken from my sight,

Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower;

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind;

In the primal sympathy

Which having been must ever be;

In the soothing thoughts that spring

Out of human suffering;

In the faith that looks through death,

In years that bring the philosophic mind.

The Most Beautiful Girl In The World

Your beauty it truly amazes me
It’s a face I want, but I can’t see
A perfect body, a perfect girl
The most beautiful one in all the world
With a loving heart, a pretty smile
She’s got class and she’s got style
She’s got the moves, she’s funny too
What she doesn’t have, I don’t have a clue
‘Cuz she’s got me completely mad for her
But she seems to think that this guy is bad for her
And so he’s sad for her, wants her to be happy
And if she wants, this perfect girl can have me

Your beauty it truly fazes me
In your arms is a place I long to be
I want to be there, my hand in yours
Next to your perfect body, it has no flaws
No flaws, no faults, no imperfections
You’d be the best choice out of the selection
But there’s no comparison, you’re just way better
And now that I’ve met her, I’ll never forget her
If only she’d let me be more than this
And fulfil my longing to kiss her lips
One more time, one turns to two
Two becomes forever and then I’m with you
Clueless, learning, in this cold world
But you warm my heart ‘cuz you’re so beautiful, girl
